At Saccuzzo Coffee, our story began over 40 years ago when our founder and roastmaster, Vincenzo Saccuzzo, set out on a mission to bring authentic Italian espresso to America. Vincenzo dreamed of creating the kind of espresso he enjoyed in his native Italy—smooth, flavorful, balanced, and full-bodied, with a luscious, thick crema. His passion led to the creation of Saccuzzo Coffee, with our first offering being the timeless Grande Italia Miscela Originale.

For more than four decades, Saccuzzo Coffee has been a family-owned and operated business dedicated to crafting premium espresso and drip coffees. Our coffee beans are hand-selected from the finest coffee-growing regions around the world, carefully blended, and roasted in small batches at our Connecticut facility. This attention to detail ensures maximum freshness, flavor intensity, and consistency, making our coffees a favorite among the finest restaurants, best coffee shops, and most discerning palates across America.

Combining Tradition with Innovation: The Saccuzzo Coffee Process

Our coffee roasting process marries old-world techniques with cutting-edge technology. We begin by meticulously cleaning the green beans to remove any impurities, ensuring a pure starting point. Then, our state-of-the-art convection roaster delivers an even, thorough, and perfectly timed roast, drawing out the full potential of each bean.

With decades of experience, our roastmaster crafts espressos and coffees that achieve a perfect balance of body and flavor. To guarantee the freshest coffee, we roast in small batches and take extra care in the post-roasting process.

Roasted Beans Demand Tender Loving Care

From the moment our beans are roasted, we take every step to preserve their integrity and flavor. We air-cool our beans using a proprietary process and store them in specially engineered silos to prevent breakage, chipping, and loss of flavor. Finally, we package our beans in triple-layered bags with one-way degassing valves to lock in their freshness, ensuring that every cup you brew is as rich and aromatic as the first.

Beyond Coffee: Exclusive Importer of Artisan Gelato Ingredients

In addition to our coffee offerings, Saccuzzo Coffee is also the exclusive U.S. importer and distributor of Torronalba artisan gelato flavors. Produced in the Piemonte region of Italy for nearly half a century, Torronalba’s gelato ingredients reflect the same dedication to quality and tradition that we apply to our coffee.
